Settings

Configure your account, brand preferences, theme, and sync settings.

Accessing Settings

Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the home screen.

Account

Shows your current sign-in status:

Upgrade to Pro

Free users see a gradient upgrade banner showing the Pro pricing. Tap to open the subscription screen.

Brand Selection

This is the most important setting — it controls which brands appear in your match results.

Selecting Paint Lines

  1. Tap the Brand Selection tile
  2. A modal opens with a dropdown to filter by medium (Acrylic, Oil, Watercolour, Gouache)
  3. Browse the hierarchical list of brands and their paint lines
  4. Tap the checkbox next to each paint line you want to include
⚠ Free Tier Limit

Free users can select a maximum of 3 paint lines. A counter shows "X/3 lines". Attempting to add more will prompt an upgrade dialog.

Removing a Brand

Uncheck a paint line to remove it. If you have paints marked as owned from that brand, a confirmation dialog will appear: "You have X paints from this brand. Remove them?"

Appearance

Tap the Appearance tile to choose your preferred display mode:

Feature Tips

Mixura includes guided coach mark tooltips that highlight features when you visit a screen for the first time. Two controls are available:

💡 Tip

You can also replay tips for the current screen at any time by tapping the help icon (question mark) in the top-left corner of the home screen.

Sync Status

Shows the current synchronisation status for your data:

Tap the sync tile to trigger a manual sync. This refreshes your palettes, scanned colours, paint ownership, and brand selections across all your devices.

Clear Cache

Tap Clear Cache to free up storage space used by temporary data. This does not delete your palettes, scans, or paint ownership -- only cached data used to speed up the app.

Sign Out & Account Management

At the bottom of the settings screen:

⚠ Account Deletion

Deleting your account permanently removes all your cloud-synced data including palettes, scans, and paint ownership. Local data may also be affected. Make sure to export any palettes you want to keep before deleting.
